le jeune ballet

lejeuneballet.ch consists of ballet students, aged 14 to 20, drawn from the pre-professional classes of the Geneva Dance Center. They come from many different backgrounds and share their passion and dedication for ballet.

This young company gives them the opportunity to perform on stage, meet choreographers and experience aspects of life as a professional dancer, while continuing to perfect their technique in classical and modern dance.

Hard work, discipline and passion are the essential ingredients of success. Many dancers from the Geneva Dance Center and the jeuneballet.ch have been hired by internationally renowned companies around the world, such as: New-York City Ballet, Les Ballets de Monte-Carlo, Ballet de l’Opéra de Paris, Ballet de Marseille Roland Petit, American Ballet Theatre, Béjart Ballet Lausanne, English National Ballet, Opéra de Zurich, Birmingham Royal Ballet…
